Tósolola na Lingála (2004) is an integrated learning tool designed to present the fundamentals of Lingála to university and non-university students. The book features a balanced series of lessons that are based on the communicative approach to language teaching and learning. The text invites students from the very beginning to communicate meaningfully in Lingála and at the same time to understand better the daily life and attitudes of Lingála speaking people. The book is the first Lingála textbook to present a functional-notional syllabus.
